Building friendships and support between seniors in the community over games, activities, and conversation.

2020 Senior Poker Run

Come out and play! ​We invite you to our first-ever seniors' drive-thru event, our 2020 Senior Poker Run!  Come and join us for a fun, safe drive-thru poker game and treat event.


  • You will start off the event at Mountain View Community Center between 11:30 and 12:30.   

  • We will have a safe drive-thru station set up for you to begin your fun and draw your first card

  • You will receive a treat bag and map to show your route to the other centers at Mountain View Community Center as well as a registration card that you will take with you to the other four participating Senior Centers. 

  • You will turn in your poker hand at the last center you visit.  We will examine all the participants turned in poker hands and we will be announcing and awarding the best poker hand a grand prize of $120 and the second-best hand of $60. 


We will be dressed up in our holiday costumes to cheer you up with our happy and smiling superpowers! 


We have joined our forces together and are so excited to host a fun event with efforts to get you out of the house for some fun during this trying and isolating time.  We hope to connect you with the other centers in the area and help you join in aging well with local connections, activities, and friendships to enrich and support your daily lives!
