Come out and play! Join local Senior’s, in this safe drive thru play date full of fun, treats, smiles, and prizes!  Make sure you register with our Senior Coordinator By Oct 22nd by email or phone Melissa at the Community Center 253-826-4329 ext 105.

We invite you to our first ever drive thru event, our 2020 Senior Poker Run!  Come and join us for a fun safe drive thru poker game, and treat event.

You will start-off the event at Mountain View Community Center between 11:30 and 12:30.   We will be dressed up in our holiday costumes to cheer you up with our happy, and smiling super powers! We will have a safe drive thru station set up for you to begin your fun and draw your first card, and receive a treat bag at Mountain View Community Center. I will give you your registration card that you will take with you to the other four participating Senior Centers. We also will provide you with a map to help you along your way to the centers.

Each Senior Center will be a fun safe drive thru station with treats for you, as you collect your poker hand.  You will turn in your poker hand at the last center you visit.  We will examine all the participants turned in recorded poker hands, and we will be announcing and awarding the best poker hand a grand prize of $120 and the second best hand of $60.

We have joined our forces together and are so excited to host a fun event with efforts to get you out of the house for some fun during this trying, and isolating time.  What fun it will be joining local seniors safely in the drive thru poker game.  We hope to connect you with the other centers in the area, and help you join in aging well with local connections, activities, and friendships to enrich and support your daily lives!

Participating Senior Centers are: Sumner, Bonney Lake, Buckley, and Orting.
